 Description 

Aquasil Soft Putty/Regular Set is a very high viscosity impression material with optimum flexibility for easy removal from undercuts.

 

COMPOSITION:

 

Base: 

  • Silica Crystalline 
  • Vinyldimethicone 
  • Zeolith Highly dispersed silica (AEROSIL®1) 
  • Paraffine oil 
  • Polydimethyl-hydrogen siloxane 
  • Green pigment (Cosmetic Green, C.I. 77288) 
  • Yellow pigment (Arc Yellow A16 N)

 

Catalyst: 

  • Silica Crystalline 
  • Vinyldimethicone 
  • Zeolith 
  • Highly dispersed silica (AEROSIL®1) 
  • Paraffine oil 
  • Platinum complex + Pt-metal 
  • Calcium carbonate 1,3-Divinyltetramethyldisiloxane 
  • Titanium dioxide

 

INDICATION:

  • It is for use as a tray material for the double mix technique or as primary impression material for a two-step putty/wash technique.

PROPERTIES OF AQUASIL PUTTY:

  • Material Properties: Aquasil Soft Putty
  • Delivery System: Tubs
  • Mixing technique: Knead with fingertips until a uniform color is achieved.
  • Mixing Ratio: 1:1
  • Linear dimensional change: 0.05%
  • Maximum compression strain: 3.5%

  • Reproduction of detail: <50µm

How to Use 

STEP 1- Preparation of Impression Area 

Clean the Impression area with air/water spray and remove excess water. 

STEP 2- Mixing and filling the tray 

Take equal amounts of catalyst and base using the color-coded measuring spoons and knead with fingertips until the colour of the mix is uniform. Immediately fill the prepared tray. 

 

NOTE: Do not interchange measuring spoons and tub lids.
